Medicover Hospitals has introduced India’s tallest and one of its most advanced medical towers in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The newly launched 25-storey, 82-metre-high facility is designed to redefine tertiary care delivery through cutting-edge technology, robust clinical infrastructure, and a patient-first philosophy.
Spread across 5 lakh sq. ft., the towering Medicover Hospital is equipped with 550 beds, 80 outpatient consultation suites, 13 high-precision operating theatres, and a 200-bed ICU featuring next-generation critical care systems. The hospital also includes a 200-seat medical auditorium and 150 private single-bed rooms aimed at enhancing comfort and privacy for patients and families.
Conceived under the leadership of Dr. G. Anil Krishna, Chairman & Managing Director, Medicover Hospitals (India), the tower marks a strategic leap in the organisation’s mission to build world-class healthcare environments on Indian soil.
Redefining Multi-Speciality Care
The new hospital brings together leading clinicians across key specialities, including oncology, cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, transplant medicine, and women’s & children’s health. Its advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities include a Biplane Canon Cath Lab, 640-slice CT scanner, 1.5T wide-bore MRI, and the Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery system, strengthening Medicover’s position as a centre for complex and precision-driven procedures.
The hospital will also serve as a Centre of Excellence for Transplants and Robotic Surgeries, expanding access to high-end treatments for patients from India and abroad.
Digital-First, Sustainable Design
Reflecting the evolving expectations of modern healthcare, the tower is built with eco-conscious materials, intelligent digital systems, and touchless technologies. Real-time health monitoring, integrated ICUs, and digital connectivity across all floors aim to enhance accuracy, safety, and workflow efficiency.
Dedicated services for international patients—including visa coordination, translators, concierge support, and customised care packages—reinforce Hyderabad’s reputation as a rapidly expanding global healthcare hub.
Leadership Vision
Speaking on the launch, Dr. G. Anil Krishna noted that the Kokapet hospital represents far more than a physical structure.
“Our goal was to create a facility where medical innovation and human compassion intersect. With AI-enabled diagnostics, robotic-assisted surgery, and integrated emergency and critical care, this tower brings the future of healthcare to our patients today.”
He added that the tower will set a “new benchmark for modern healthcare infrastructure in Hyderabad,” strengthening India’s position as a centre for advanced and ethical medical care.
