AIIMS New Delhi has announced that beginning from March, there will be an open house every second Saturday. The Director, Dr M. Srinivas, as well as members from the Indian Council of Medical Research, Department of Science & Technology, and Department of Biotechnology will be in attendance.

To make intersectoral learning more accessible, the institute has also announced institutional partnerships with organisations including the Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Management, and the Indian School of Commerce.

The decision has been made to develop new research programmes, research proposals that are in line with national priorities, support ongoing research projects, and handle funding and implementation challenges that may arise.

A number of research projects, including multiple centres of excellence, have been carried out by AIlMS New Delhi with funding from the ICMR, DBT, DST, and the Department of Health Research. Faculty at AIIMS have led the way in a number of research projects that are connected to national research priorities.

The open house is open to all faculty, scientists, research scholars, residents, and students at AIlMS.

The institute has also announced partnerships with organisations like IITs, IIMs, and ISB to increase access to intersectoral learning, as well as with businesses like McKinsey, BCG, and Bain to expose students to the management field and give them experiences outside of the typical medical education, patient care, and research.a
