IBA Health Limited, Australia’s largest stock exchange listed information technology company announced that IBA Health’s acquisition of iSOFT has now become effective after the final sanction by the High Court of Justice for England and Wales. The unification of these two health-focused organisations will create one of the world’s largest healthcare IT providers.

Keane Inc., a formerly public (USD 1 billion-plus) software firm has won a $1.4 million, three-year deal with Parkway Hospital in Queens, New York, for a patient-management software product. That deal came the day after Keane announced a similar USD 1.2 million contract with Century City Doctors Hospital in Los Angeles.

Sobha Renaissance Information Technology (SRIT) have announced its Joint Venture (JV) with Capital Technic Group (CTG), an Australian Management Consulting & Services firm. The joint-venture capitalized at Australian $2.5m aims to produce $7.5m in annual revenues by the second year and ramping up to $65m by the fifth.
