The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday informed that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be held abroad for the first time. The NTA shared in a tweet that the exam will be held at 14 locations abroad apart from 543 cities in India. These abroad cities include Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Kaula Lumpur, Kuwait City, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, and Singapore.

The announcement came hours after NTA announced holding the exam on July 17. National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu ​​at centers across the country, according to the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The candidate looking for admission to MBBS and BDS courses can now register for the written entrance examination at the official website neet.nta.nic.in.

An applicant must have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission. There is no upper age limit in NEET this year. NEET UG is held for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, BSc Nursing, and Life Science courses.

The last date for submission of the online application form is May 6, 2022.

How to apply for NEET (UG) 2022

Visit neet.nta.nic.in and select ‘Registration for NEET (UG) 2022.

The candidate will be redirected to a login registration window.

After signing in, the candidate has to fill in personal and academic details in the application, including the preference of the exam center.

The registration is done when a confirmation page opens after the candidate pays a NEET registration fee and submits the application form.

The NTA will send all information to the registered email address or mobile number. Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the online application form are their own or of parents and guardians only.

Lakhs of candidates were waiting for NEET-UG 2022 notification. In NEET 2021, as many as 16.14 lakh candidates had registered, out of which 15.44 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
