NEET 2019 Counselling: MCC withdraws provisional list; know other details

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has withdrawn NEET first allotment list, hours after it was declared on its official website. As per the official notice by MCC, a government body which regulates the counseling for undergraduate medical and dental seats, fresh new result for round 1 will be published shortly with a fresh schedule.

Medical aspirant are advised to check the official website of the MCC for the fresh allotment list.

Steps to check 2019 first round seat allotment result

Students need to click on mcc.nic.in or medicalcounselling.nic.in

A window will open showing NEET 2019 Counselling first round seat allotment result

Download and take print out of the same for future use

Next steps after release of allotment list

As per the set procedure, students who have been allotted a seat in the first round are given free exit/entry option.

There is a provision in the exit/entry option which states that even if a student doesn’t report/join the allotted college despite being allotted a seat in first round, he won’t be penalized. At the same time he would be eligible for subsequent rounds.

After the NEET First Round Seat Allotment Result 2019 is declared, a candidate must decide whether he wants to accept or leave the seat. Candidates will have 6 days to the centre for the document verification process.

What students should know

Registration for NEET 2019 Counselling first round was conducted from June 19 to June 24, 2019.

The registration process for second round of NEET 2019 counselling would be conducted from July 9 to July 11.

After the registration process on July 11, students could lock their choices on July 12 from 3 pm onwards.

The NEET 2019 counselling result for second round seat allotment will be released by the Medical Counselling Committee on July 15.
