The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the deadline for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2020 mop-up round reporting. Now, eligible candidates get extra time to report to allotted medical colleges. The new deadline is 29 December till 6 pm.
The decision to extend date has been undertaken as some of the candidates cited difficulties in travelling to other cities where they have been allotted the colleges. Earlier they had been given 26 Dec as deadline to report to colleges.
The mop-up round final result was declared on December 17, 2020, at the official website mcc.nic.in. It was conducted to fill the vacant seats for MBBS/BDS programmes in deemed and central universities. All MBBS candidates who had not been allotted a seat or those who exited from NEET 2020 counselling were eligible to appear in the mop-up round.
All the details regarding college allotment are available on the official website ntaneet.nic.in. Candidates are advised to visit website for same. To check information regarding result, merit and allotted college, candidates have to log in the website using their NEET 2020 application number and roll number.
