Medanta Medicity is all set to escalate in Middle East by setting up super speciality hospital in Qatar. The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Doha’s Humanis Group to set up this multi-million dollar hospital.

Naresh Trehan, prominent heart surgeon and Chairman Medanta Medicity signed the documents on behalf of the India-based group while Mohan Thomas, ENT specialist and NRI represented Humanis Group at the signing.

According to reports dignitaries present at the signing agreed to provide their wholehearted support for the 500-bedded hospital project.

The hospital would be designed to meet the fast growing requirements of Qatar whose population has grown manifold in less than 12 years.
