The Apollo Hospitals group is reportedly ready to set up an integrated healthcare and wellness destination and a 50-bed multi-speciality hospital at Lavasa hill town near Pune, following an agreement it signed with the Lavasa Corporation. The centre will be spread over 200 acres and the hospital is slated to be ready by 2009. The wellness services will extend to rejuvenation, long-term care and R&D. The integrated hospital and wellness centre it is said will have four major service verticals, including an education and R&D zone.
