Cisco Systems excels in healthcare sector in India

The networking company Cisco Systems is expanding in the Asia since it has recently declared launch of its Cisco healthcare solution pilot in collaboration with the Government of Madhya Pradesh (MP) in Sehore.
In the initial phase, community/primary healthcare centres will be deployed in Sehore and Gwalior and will be connected to the district hospital in these locations. This deployment will enable patients, at the CHCs/PHCs, to have access to basic medical treatment and specialist consultations remotely.

The patients who will visit these CHCs/PHCs will have their vitals checked by the nursing staff at the centre, while the doctors will provide consultation and diagnosis in real time, sitting at the district hospital.
