The Association of Surgeons of India in collaboration with Quality Council of India and supported by knowledge partners, EFNRA Consultants and Kyra Strategic Consulting presents is organising the first comprehensive symposium and workshop on ‘Doctor as an Entrepreneur: How to Set-up and Expand a Hospital,’ concurrently during the 70th Annual Conference of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASICON 2010) at ASICON city in the premises of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, from December 15-20, 2010.

In a move that will regularise and upgrade the healthcare facilities for central government employees, the health ministry is likely to issue a directive asking more than 150 Central Services Medical Attendant (CSMA)-affiliated private hospitals to get the approval of National Accreditation Board for hospitals and healthcare providers (NABH).
