India hospital accreditation programme – National Accreditation Board for Hospital (NABH), run and managed by the Quality Council of India (QCI) will now serve globally.
Medwin Hospital recently received a National Accreditation Board for hospitals & Healthcare (NABH) certificate and is now the first hospital in Andhra Pradesh and the 20th in India to do so.
In a move that will regularise and upgrade the healthcare facilities for central government employees, the health ministry is likely to issue a directive asking more than 150 Central Services Medical Attendant (CSMA)-affiliated private hospitals to get the approval of National Accreditation Board for hospitals and healthcare providers (NABH).
