Covid-19 Updates: India Reports Over 41K Fresh Corona Cases, More than 39K Recoveries in Past 24 Hours

The country has registered 41,806 Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. At, present, India’s active caseload is 4,32,041, and its active cases constitute 1.39% of the total cases, according to a statement by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
According to MoHFW, India witnessed 3,01,43,850 recoveries until now as 39,130 patients recovered in the past 24 hours. Also, the country’s recovery rate increases to 97.28%. The Health Ministry also informed that the weekly positivity rate is at 2.21%, and the daily positivity rate is 2.15%, less than 3% for 24 consecutive days.
In a related development, the Ministry informed that India inoculated 39.13 crore vaccine doses until now under the nationwide vaccination drive. It added that India’s testing capacity has been “substantially” ramped up as 43.80 crore tests have been carried out.
