The medical industry has come a long way with interventions that have improved the quality of life in societies across the globe. However, the industry will need to re-imagine the manufacturing space for attaining a quantum leap for the healthcare sector. The case for pursuing manufacturing excellence is now more powerful as medical device equipment manufacturers are seen to be confronted with new challenges triggered by the pandemic that can cause massive fluctuations in demand.
