With the growing threat of dengue especially during the monsoon season, Dabur India Ltd, India’s largest ayurvedic medicine & related products manufacturer, will be joining hands with New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) to strengthen the fight against dengue.
With time, the number of confirmed dengue cases has increased more than twice of the cases registered in 2015.
- School rallies to sensitise the general public, particularly school-going children.
- Daburs mosquito repellent brand Odomos and NDMC organised the rally in Navyug School. More than 200 students marched to raise awareness on the importance of keeping their surroundings clean to prevent mosquito breeding and protect themselves from dengue.
- Dabur and NDMC will also organise a School Contact Programme, which will seek to sensitise the authorities of NDMC schools and nodal officers to implement dengue protection measures in their schools and offices.
- Dabur also distributed Odomos to the children free of cost as a move to offer complete protection from dengue-causing mosquitoes.
