Laurus Labs reported Q2 FY27 net profit of ₹441 crore, up 126%, on revenue of ₹2,206 crore, as CDMO revenue rose 75% to ₹904 crore and EBITDA margin widened to 34.5%. The Hyderabad drugmaker also agreed to take a 60% stake in Montreal-based Galenvs Sciences to deepen its oligonucleotide capabilities.
Sudarshan Pharma to Take 9.5% Stake in US CAR-T Developer MedTherapy Biotechnology, Eyes US Entry
API maker Sudarshan Pharma Industries’ board has approved buying a 9.5% stake in Boston-based MedTherapy Biotechnology, a CAR-T cell and gene therapy company with a GMP plant in New Delhi, as a route into the US market. The deal is expected to close by 31 March 2027.
