Dozee has entered into a collaboration with the Association of Nurse Executives in India (ANEI), a national-level association comprising dedicated nurse leaders across the country. The collaboration aims to revolutionise nursing practices, enhance patient care, and create a supportive environment for nurses in India. ANEI, with its presence spread across 15 Indian states and Union territories, comprising 500 members, is dedicated to its mission of empowering nurses across regions and communities to provide quality patient care.

With 1.7 nurses per 1,000 population, India falls short of the WHO recommended rate of 3 nurses per 1,000 population, the country needs 4.3 million more nurses by 2024 to meet WHO norms. This is where a technology solution like Dozee comes in, it enables healthcare workers to remotely monitor patients’ vital parameters. Research done by independent consulting firm Sattva shows that for every ~100 Dozee-connected beds, it can save ~144 lives and ~80% of the time taken for vitals by nurses and reduce ICU ALOS by ~1.3 days.

Captain Ajitha Nair, National President, ANEI commenting on this eventful partnership, said, ‘Since its inception, ANEI has committed to improving nursing conditions and patient safety throughout India. By joining forces with Dozee, we will be able to further our mission and enable India’s collective nursing community to reach its full potential. With more and more nurses joining the organisation every day, it is imperative that they are familiar with and can adapt to emerging tech solutions such as Dozee. It is our pleasure to work with Dozee and set the stage for improving clinical outcomes in every healthcare setting.’

‘Nursing plays an indispensable role in our healthcare system, much like teachers do in education. Technology has been a game-changer in empowering healthcare professionals, including nurses, to deliver better patient outcomes, and reduce their workload. With ANEI’s support, we are committed to elevating technology’s significance in nursing practices and making it a national-level mission. Together, we will revolutionize nursing practices, enhance patient care, and create a supportive environment for nurses in India.’ said Mudit Dandwate, CEO and Co-founder of Dozee.

As the collaboration between Dozee and ANEI progresses, both organisations are committed to driving innovation in nursing, fostering professional growth, and improving patient care outcomes. The joint efforts aim to showcase the transformative potential of technology in nursing, positioning nurses as leaders in the adoption of digital solutions that enhance healthcare delivery.

As part of its mission to transform the healthcare industry, Dozee has trained over 5000 nurses on advanced RPM. So far, Dozee has established itself in 380+ hospitals. Dozee’s contribution towards addressing the grassroots challenges of the healthcare industry is paving the way for a new kind of healthcare system, one that prioritizes patient-centricity while creating better health outcomes and delivery.
