Hyderabad, Telangana: The India Pharma Expo 2026, held from 23rd April alongside the NextGen Pharma Summit & Awards, concluded on 25th April 2026 at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad. It brought together leading voices from across the healthcare, MedTech, and hospital administration ecosystem, fostering dialogue on innovation, patient-centric care, and the future of clinical excellence. The event served as a platform for clinicians, hospital leaders, and technology experts to exchange insights on advancing healthcare delivery through the integration of cutting-edge technologies.

The session commenced with The Pulse Talk – MedTech Meets the Operating Room, featuring Deepti G, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Ozone Hospitals, and Dr Puneeth Babu Anne, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, American Oncology Hospital. The discussion highlighted how healthcare institutions are evolving beyond traditional service delivery to become innovation-led organisations focused on outcomes, efficiency, and patient experience.

This was followed by an insightful session titled From Supply Leader to Innovation Brand, where Sudhakar Rao, Director, ICFAI Group, emphasised the importance of strategic transformation, innovation adoption, and leadership in building resilient healthcare enterprises.

The summit featured thought-provoking panel discussions addressing critical industry themes:

• Building Future-Ready Hospitals: Infrastructure, Accreditation Quality & Leadership

The event also featured a keynote address by Dr P.V. Rao, Former Professor and Head, Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, and Director, Diabetes Research Centre, Hyderabad. He highlighted the rising burden of metabolic disorders and stressed the need for integrated, preventive, and technology-enabled healthcare systems.

Following a networking break, Dr C. Prabhakar Reddy, Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, NIMS, Hyderabad, shared insights on the importance of pharmacological advancements and evidence-based therapeutic practices in modern healthcare.

The event also featured specialised knowledge and technical sessions, including a session by Kanchan Mala, Manager- Business Development at Invitron Advanced Analytics and Dr Mahesh Mishra, Technical Lead at Invitron Advanced Analytics, and a technical session by Prof. (Dr.) Amit Kumar Tiwari, Senior Patent Associate at R.K. Dewan & Co., and a special address by Dr Nitu Sinha, Vice President – Global Pharmacovigilance & Patient Safety, Mankind Pharma and Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd. (BSV), India, who highlighted the growing importance of patient safety and global pharmacovigilance frameworks.

The event concluded with networking and expo interactions, enabling stakeholders to explore collaborations and partnerships across the healthcare and MedTech ecosystem.

The three-day India Pharma Expo 2026 witnessed strong industry backing, with leading organisations coming on board as partners across categories.
