60 per cent of the population eligible for corona vaccination has been given both the doses of the Covid vaccine in Chhattisgarh. 95 percent of the eligible population has received its first dose.
Till December 26, about 1.87 crore people have been vaccinated. The state is now only five per cent away from 100 per cent coverage of the first dose. The number of people eligible for corona vaccination in the state is one crore 96 lakh 51 thousand.
Meanwhile, both the doses have been given to protect 60 percent of the citizens of the state from corona. About 1.80 crore people have been administered both the doses. Rapid vaccination is being done across the state to achieve the 100 per cent target of corona vaccination. The vaccine is also being given at the Paddy procurement centres to reach out to the maximum number of eligible people.
