The country reported less than 1 lakh new cases for the second day as it reported 92,596 new cases in the last 24 hours. India’s active caseload further declined to less than 13 lakh (12,31,415) after 57 days as the country’s active cases decreased by 72,287 in the last 24 hours.

Also, India registered 2,75,04,126 total recoveries across the country so far, with 1,62,664 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. Recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 27th consecutive day and Recovery Rate increased to 94.55%.

Besides, weekly positivity rate currently stands at 5.66% and daily positivity rate at 4.66%, less than 10% for 16 consecutive days.

The Testing capacity substantially ramped up as 37.01 crores tests total conducted, and 23.9 crores vaccine doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
