Covid-19 Updates: India Reports 67,208 Daily New Cases

India reported 67,208 daily new cases in the last 24 hours. Its active caseload declined to 8,26,740; the lowest after 71 days.
The country’s total recoveries touched 2,84,91,670 so far as 1,03,570 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. Its daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 35th consecutive day, with the recovery rate increased to 95.93%.
The weekly positivity rate remained below 5% as it is currently at 3.99%. The daily positivity rate is at 3.48%, less than 5% for 10 consecutive days.
The testing capacity ramped up to 38.52 crore tests, and 26.55 crore vaccine doses administered so far under the nationwide vaccination drive.
