Covid-19 Updates: On a Declining Trend, India Logs Over 1.73 Lakh Cases in 24 Hours

Maintaining a declining trend, India recorded over 1.73 cases in the last 24 hours. Cumulatively, the active caseload has also now reduced to 22,28,724 as active cases decreased by 1,14,428 in the last 24 hours.
India’s daily recoveries continue to outnumber the daily new cases for the 16th consecutive day as 1,14,428 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. The country’s cumulative recoveries have reached 2,51,78,011.

Meanwhile, 20.89 crores vaccine doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive, besides testing capacity substantially ramped up as 34.1 crore tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
