Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has said that the next three weeks are “crucial” vis-à-vis the Covid-19 situation in India.

Harsh Vardhan has said that the union government is working closely with state and UT governments in the area of public health measures for containing the Covid-19 pandemic. “Next three weeks crucial! At a meeting held today, UTs advised augmenting hospital infrastructure, ramping up testing, creating containment zones and strictly enforcing the Covid appropriate behavior,” he tweeted.

He informed that UTs have been advised to augment hospital infrastructure, ramping up testing, creating containment zones, and strictly enforce COVID Appropriate Behaviour.

Meanwhile, India recorded 3,14,835 fresh cases were registered in the last 24 hours. Ten States including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat and Rajasthan report 75.66% of the new cases.
