Shri. Narendrakumar A. Baldota, Chairman, Baldota Group, inaugurated the Institute in the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Honourable Union Minister for Home Affairs Shri. Also present on the occasion were Dr. Amit Maydeo, Director, Baldota Institute of Digestive Sciences, Dr. K. Ravindranath, Chairman & Managing Director, Global Hospitals Group, and the medical luminaries of Mumbai.

This unique center has been the brainchild of reputed Gastroenterologist, Dr Amit Maydeo from Mumbai. Speaking on the occasion, he said that this will be a giant leap in medical care for all patients suffering from problems related to the Digestive system. He further added that this center was equipped with the most advanced equipment and manned by 14 reputed Gastroenterologists from the city of Mumbai. All this has been possible because of the magnanimous financial support from the Baldota Group who has been traditionally known for their philanthropic activities for the betterment of society.
