Physicians and doctors of Parkview Health hospitals are monitoring their critical patients though telemedicine technology. At Parkview Health Hospitals, Kendallville, Indiana, telemedicine technology is being used to monitor the critical patients. The technology is being provided by a medical service company named Advanced ICU, which is based at St.Louis, with whom Parkview has entered into a contract. The technology includes interactive video-conferencing for real-time consultation between physicians  and patients. The Advanced ICU Care has teamed up with Parkview’s group of physicians involved in critical care (also known as intensivists) to provide round-the-clock care and monitoring of patients of the hospital chain. Intensivists are employing eICU technology to improve patients’ care and safety.
