Intel plans wireless BP monitors

Bluethooth technology firms, such as Intel and Phillips, are planning to release health-related applications called blood pressure monitors.

Blood pressure monitors, which can be linked to a PC or mobile phone through a wireless link is one of the medical application developed by Bluetooth technology firms. The companies including IBM, Intel, Motorola, Nonin Medical, Philips Electronics and welch Allyn are planning to ratify Bluethooth medical device profile, which will promote the use of medical devises.
