Schiller India, a leading Swiss Joint Venture Company in the field of Medical Diagnostics, has launched a new Biphasic Defibrillator, DEFIGARD 4000. It uses multipulse biowave technology for defibrillation ensuring optimum amount of energy during shock delivery. According to Hormazd Cooper, Vice President – Sales, “The DEFIGARD 4000 is a new entrant to Schiller’s range of defibrillators. It essentially provides Schiller AG’s Patented Multipulse Biphasic current technology made famous by the highly successful DEFIGARD 5000 Model. The DEFIGARD 4000 introduces the advantages of the Multipulse Biphasic technology to a product designed for the mass market. It’s simple design and rugged construction makes it ideal for use in rough environments – where the unit is constantly being moved as well as handled by multiple users.
