Canon Medical Systems India Pvt. Ltd. has entered into a research collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC), marking a significant step forward in the field of advanced cancer imaging and diagnostics. The partnership was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which RGCIRC will deploy Canon’s newly introduced flagship 640-slice CT scanner, Aquilion ONE / INSIGHT Edition, for research applications in cancer care.

The collaboration underlines Canon Medical’s long-standing philosophy of ‘Made for Life’, showcasing its commitment to enhancing healthcare outcomes in India through technological innovation.

The Aquilion ONE / INSIGHT Edition represents a breakthrough in CT imaging. Its 16-cm wide-area coverage and AI-powered technologies provide physicians with sharper images, faster workflows, and more precise diagnostic information. Key innovations include:
