Connect2MyDoctor, a virtual telehealth platform has inked a new pact with the University of Sharjah.

The two institutions have agreed to collaborate on research activities in areas of mutual interest after obtaining the necessary approvals. The collaboration will extend to areas such as data collection, analysis, and joint submissions to journals, conferences, and other scientific venues.


As per the agreement, telerehabilitation of identified patients will happen through the C2MD platform and its associated modules. With the help of its integrated care coach OmniROM, C2MD enables physiotherapists and orthopaedic surgeons to remotely track and measure a patient’s recovery/rehabilitation through video consultations.cARe, C2MD’s 3D Augmented Reality module for patient education, and HomeDoc, the company’s solution for telehealth care from patient homes, will also play a critical role.

C2MD has opened its regional headquarters in Dubai, further strengthening its presence in the UAE. The plan is to offer a bouquet of online healthcare services including triage care, second opinions, mental health, remote patient management and follow-up visits, Home Care, Tele Rehabilitation, and more for the region.
