Chandigarh, October 13 Haryana Health Minister, Anil Vij said that Ayurvedic Mobile Dispensaries would be started in all four divisions of the State where people would get ayurvedic treatment.
The Health Minister was presiding over separate meetings with AYUSH Medical Officers Association, Ayurvedic Dispensers Association and Health Supervisors Union. He said that a provision has been made to open six ayurvedic dispensaries every year which would enable patients to get treatment facilities in their nearby areas.
Vij said that the matter of providing salary to Ayurvedic doctors on the pattern of Medical Officers would be considered sympathetically. On the demand of the AYUSH Medical Officers Association, the Minister gave in-principle approval to Haryana AYUSH Medical Services. He said that it would also be considered to provide annual increment and Group-A status to Ayurvedic Medical Officers on the pattern of Medical Officers.
The Health Minister said that status of Ayurvedic Pharmacist would be given to Ayurvedic Dispensers on the pattern of Allopathic Pharmacists. After that, they would be promoted as Senior Pharmacist and Chief Pharmacist. He said that other demands of the Dispensers would be considered sympathetically.
While presiding over a meeting with members of the Health Supervisors Union, Vij said that outstanding employees of all categories of the Department would be honoured. He directed the officers of the Department to prepare norms in this regard so that there would be no discrimination with anyone. On the demand of the Union, the Minister directed the officers to prepare gradation list of supervisors and provide mobile SIM cards to them.
