The IT capital just added another feather in its cap. Bangalore city has been ranked No. 2 among the 593 districts in the country in terms of existence of health facilities. Chennai tops the list. Ironically, Bangalore Rural district stood at 67. The National Population Stabilization Fund (NPSF), in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre, has undertaken a unique exercise to create maps which show the existence of health facilities in each district across the country. It was taken up primarily for population stabilisation, therefore, based on four specific criteria
