An announcement was made by a leading source of outpatient information solutions, SourceMedical, that the Vision Electronic Health Record (EHR) Compliance Guarantee Program, which assures that Vision EHR will be compliant with the forthcoming government issued ASC certification requirements for federal stimulus reimbursement or customers will receive their money back. SourceMedical is also introducing new financing for Vision EHR customers that greatly reduces upfront software and implementation costs.
To further ease the financial burden for ASCs interested in deploying an EHR system, SourceMedical is introducing new financing options to speed adoption. SourceMedical is making $10 Million in funding available to customers who order Vision EHR by December 31, 2010. Vision EHR is a tightly integrated electronic health record designed specifically for a surgical environment. It replaces the Vision Case Manager area of the application with a fully customizable and embedded EHR that supports the core processes of managing an ASC. SourceMedical guarantees its Vision EHR solution will meet the forthcoming standards and requirements outlined by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONCHIT) for use of an approved EHR in an ASC environment or customers will receive their money back.
