HealthTech startup Plazza has raised $15 million in a Series A funding round co-led by Accel, Elevation Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners. The fresh investment will help the company accelerate its technology capabilities, strengthen inventory management, and expand its rapid medicine delivery network across India.
Founded in 2024 by former Zomato executive Aman Priyadarshi, Plazza operates technology-enabled neighbourhood pharmacies that deliver medicines within 15 to 30 minutes. The startup combines digital ordering with hyperlocal fulfilment to improve medicine accessibility while offering a seamless customer experience.
The newly raised capital will be used to enhance Plazza’s AI-driven technology platform, optimise supply chain operations, and scale its pharmacy network beyond its current presence in Bengaluru. The company aims to improve operational efficiency while expanding access to essential medicines through its quick-commerce healthcare model.

Prior to this round, Plazza had secured $1.4 million from All In Capital and Better Capital in 2025. The company also reported nearly 27-fold growth in gross merchandise value (GMV) between June 2025 and March 2026, reflecting increasing consumer demand for faster and more convenient pharmacy services.
The latest funding highlights growing investor confidence in India’s digital health and quick-commerce ecosystem. As technology continues to transform pharmaceutical retail, startups like Plazza are leveraging AI, logistics, and hyperlocal delivery models to reshape how consumers access medicines while strengthening the country’s evolving digital healthcare landscape.
