PharmEasy & Samsung Health

PharmEasy has partnered with Samsung Health to integrate essential healthcare services into the app’s newly introduced “Find Care” feature. The collaboration allows Samsung Health users to order medicines, schedule diagnostic tests, and access online consultations directly within the wellness platform.

The integration reflects a growing convergence between consumer health tracking platforms and digital healthcare delivery ecosystems. By embedding PharmEasy’s services into Samsung Health, users can move from monitoring fitness, sleep, and vital parameters to acting on their healthcare needs without leaving the app environment.

As part of the rollout, Samsung Health users will receive six months of complimentary PharmEasy Plus membership, offering benefits such as additional discounts on medicines and lab tests, delivery advantages, and reward credits. This bundled offering is positioned to drive both user acquisition and recurring engagement across platforms.

Strategic Implications for the Digital Health Ecosystem

For the Indian healthcare ecosystem, the partnership highlights three key industry shifts:

  1. Embedded Healthcare Services within Lifestyle Platforms
Wellness applications are increasingly evolving into integrated healthcare access points. By combining preventive tracking with service fulfilment, platforms can bridge the gap between awareness and action.
  2. Expansion of Digital Distribution Channels
For digital health providers, partnerships with high-penetration consumer tech platforms offer scalable distribution without additional customer acquisition friction.
  3. Subscription-Led Healthcare Models
The inclusion of a time-bound premium membership signals the continued rise of subscription-based healthcare benefits aimed at driving retention and long-term engagement.

Commenting on the collaboration, Gaurav Verma, Chief Business Officer at PharmEasy (API Holdings), said the partnership represents a step toward creating a seamless, end-to-end healthcare journey by combining everyday technology with affordable medical access.

Kyungyun Roo, Managing Director at Samsung Research Institute, Noida, noted that integrating “Find Care” within Samsung Health aligns with the company’s broader goal of improving healthcare accessibility and enhancing user experience through continuous innovation.

The Bigger Picture

Samsung Health, widely used for activity tracking, heart health monitoring, and sleep analysis, now extends its utility into healthcare access. For PharmEasy, the integration reinforces its positioning as a comprehensive digital healthcare platform spanning pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, teleconsultations, and home-based care services.

As digital health adoption accelerates in India, collaborations between consumer technology leaders and healthcare platforms are likely to play a pivotal role in shaping more connected, patient-centric care models.
