Medica Instrument Manufacturing Company launched its own media preparator under the EQUICLAVE brand, the stage is set for the company to prove its mettle against international brands and to rule the roost, first on domestic soil and then on foreign lands. Being the first in India to manufacture Media Preparators for the benefit of their own brethren who have until now been shelling out huge amounts to import such preparators from abroad, the company is doing India proud and setting the right precedent for other Indian companies to become self-reliant as well as globally competitive. A media preparator is equipment, which allows preparation, mixing, sterilization, and dispensing of media. Traditionally, media has been prepared by mixing, agitating, and pouring into beakers as per the required quantity; after which, it is sterilized in an autoclave.
