Molbio Diagnostics, a leading point-of-care molecular diagnostics company, has raised ₹281 crore from anchor investors ahead of its ₹939.70 crore initial public offering (IPO), which opens on August 10, 2026. The anchor round has attracted investors including the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and HDFC Asset Management Company, highlighting strong institutional interest in India’s growing diagnostics and healthcare technology sector.
Founded in 2000, Molbio Diagnostics is known for its Truenat platform, which enables rapid molecular testing closer to patients and supports decentralised healthcare delivery. The company has built its business around point-of-care diagnostic solutions designed for use across hospitals, laboratories, government health programmes and other healthcare settings.
The company’s IPO comprises a fresh issue of approximately ₹200 crore and an offer for sale of around ₹739.70 crore, taking the total issue size to approximately ₹939.70 crore. The price band has been fixed at ₹768–₹807 per equity share, with the IPO scheduled to remain open from August 10 to August 12, 2026.

Molbio has expanded its presence across international markets and operates six manufacturing facilities in India. Its diagnostics portfolio and Truenat technology have helped strengthen access to molecular testing, particularly in settings where conventional laboratory infrastructure may be limited.
The IPO comes at a time when India’s diagnostics industry is witnessing increasing demand for faster, decentralised and technology-enabled testing. Molbio’s public-market debut is expected to further place the company at the centre of India’s expanding medtech and diagnostics ecosystem.
