Health Parliament has announced the acquisition of UHC.org, signalling a major step toward building a consolidated digital platform dedicated to advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC) worldwide. The move is expected to redefine how countries, policy bodies, innovators, and implementation partners collaborate on healthcare access.
Positioning itself as the world’s first integrated space focused exclusively on UHC, Health Parliament aims to bring together fragmented global health efforts into a single, actionable ecosystem. The acquisition comes at a time when health systems are confronting rising costs, widening inequalities, and limited coordination across national borders.
A New Architecture for Global Health Collaboration
The integration of UHC.org is intended to streamline how policy is formulated, tested, and scaled. Rather than operating through disconnected initiatives, the platform will enable a coordinated governance model—bridging global policy discussions with on-ground implementation and cross-country cooperation.
Several major initiatives will now be housed under UHC.org:
- Digital Health Sans Borders, a global campaign unveiled during the 78th World Health Assembly in Geneva in May 2025, aimed at ensuring equitable access to digital health tools by 2030
- The Global Commission for 21st Century Healthcare, led by 12 global leaders, set to officially launch alongside the UN General Assembly High-Level Meeting in December 2025. Preliminary consultations for the commission were held in Germany on 12 November 2025.
- Data First. AI Later, a global movement advocating that robust data infrastructure must precede AI adoption in healthcare systems.
“A Nerve Centre for Global Health Governance”
Commenting on the acquisition, Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, Founder & Chairman of Health Parliament, said the platform will become a central hub for ethics, governance, and strategic collaboration in health.
“UHC.org will serve as the nerve centre for global health ethics and governance. From Geneva to New York, Delhi to Nairobi, we will bring governments, global agencies, academia, and innovators together to make Universal Health Coverage a reality. Our vision is simple yet profound—if you have access to technology, you should have access to healthcare.”
Dr. Lars Lindskold, President of the European Federation of Medical Informatics (EFMI), highlighted the acquisition’s global significance:
“This platform arrives at a moment when the world needs a shared path forward. UHC.org offers the opportunity for countries to lift one another through shared knowledge, stronger data, and a common belief that healthcare must be accessible to every person. This is more than a digital space—it is a commitment to humanity.”
Expanding Digital Influence in Global Health
The move builds on Health Parliament’s growing digital footprint, following its earlier acquisition of IndianHealthcareBlog.com. With UHC.org positioned as a global entry point for policy alignment, standards development, innovation, and financing, the organisation is poised to play a broader role in shaping regional and global health agendas.
The phased rollout of UHC.org will begin with consolidating existing initiatives, followed by:
- An open-access global knowledge hub
- A global policy and standards dashboard
- A multi-country collaboration network is scheduled to go live in early 2026
- A Global Advisory Council comprising policymakers, clinicians, technologists, and civil society leaders

A Defining Moment for UHC2030
As nations accelerate efforts to meet the United Nations target of Universal Health Coverage by 2030, Health Parliament’s acquisition of UHC.org marks a pivotal shift. For B2B healthcare stakeholders—ranging from digital health providers to policy consulting firms, medtech innovators, and development partners—the platform may emerge as a critical gateway for participating in global healthcare transformation.
