The Central Ayurveda Research Institute, established in 1979, has been a pioneer in clinical research, particularly in preventive cardiology and non-communicable diseases. Operating for decades from rented premises in Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi, the institute will now move to a dedicated facility in Rohini, setting a benchmark for Ayurvedic research and healthcare.
The new campus will comprise four main blocks: Administrative, Outpatient Department (OPD), Inpatient Department (IPD), and a dedicated Treatment Block. A 100-bed research hospital will cater to specialized treatments, including geriatrics, paediatrics, ENT, arthritis, preventive cardiology, and eye care. Traditional therapies like Panchakarma, Kshara Sutra, and Jalukavacharana will be integrated with modern diagnostic technologies.
