Fujifilm India has introduced the mikoto Colon Model, a groundbreaking endoscopy simulator, during the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons (IAGES) Prof. Dr. B Krishna Rau Simulation Training Programme in Chennai. This innovative technology reaffirms Fujifilm’s commitment to enhancing medical education and improving healthcare outcomes in India.

The mikoto Colon Model is a cutting-edge simulation tool designed to transform endoscopy training. Its compact and portable design integrates advanced sensors and artificial intelligence, delivering realistic feedback, performance evaluations, and procedural scoring. With four levels of difficulty, the simulator supports self-paced learning, catering to practitioners at various skill levels. By fostering precision and confidence, the mikoto Colon Model equips healthcare professionals to provide superior endoscopic care, ultimately benefiting patients.


Speaking about the innovation, Prof. Masashi Fujii, MD, Ph.D., CEO of R Zero Inc., Japan, emphasized “The mikoto Colon Model is a significant step forward in medical training.
