Metropolis Healthcare Limited, one of India’s leading diagnostic chains known for its scientific excellence, has unveiled the ‘Metropolis Institute of Laboratory Education and Skilling (MiLES)’ initiative. This pioneering venture is set to address the growing gap between academic learning and practical skills in the healthcare sector. In a strategic partnership with DY Patil (Deemed-to-be) University, Navi Mumbai, Metropolis Healthcare will offer specialized Fellowship programs, aimed at fostering a highly skilled healthcare workforce ready to meet the demands of the evolving medical landscape.

Under this initiative, MiLES will offer one-year Fellowship courses in Advanced Clinical Chemistry, Advanced Hematopathology, Advanced Surgical Pathology, Quality Assurance in Laboratory Medicine, and Molecular Pathology & Cytogenomics. These programs are tailored for Post-MD and DNB students, focusing on the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on training. The participants will benefit from immersive laboratory experiences, real-world case studies, and exposure to cutting-edge diagnostic technologies, all under the mentorship of Metropolis’ experienced subject matter experts.
