Narendra Modi

As part of a broader development initiative in Rajasthan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has earmarked significant funds for health sector enhancements. A state-of-the-art 350-bed trauma centre and critical care hospital is set to be established at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jodhpur, with an investment of over Rs 350 crore.

Furthermore, seven critical care blocks will be developed across the state under the aegis of the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). These establishments are envisioned to transform the state’s approach to trauma and emergency care, providing comprehensive and multidisciplinary services to patients.

These health initiatives form part of the broader Rs 5,000 crore development projects recently unveiled by the Prime Minister in the poll-bound state.
