My Expectations in the upcoming budget include focus on digital infrastructure to reach every corner of the country. Promoting tele-health through private -public partnership and strategic partnership with the private medical colleges for more research on the application of AI/ML, Augmented and virtual reality in the healthcare sector.

Development for inter-operability through AYUSH, NDHM kind of project is the key-focus area also. But definitely, digital infrastructure is the key expectation for this upcoming financial year.

Collaboration with Information Technology and Healthcare in the PPP model will also help us to boost many start-up companies where technology like 3D printing, Next-Gen Sequencing can be useful for clinical trials, low-cost-care and more predictive business.

Last, but not the list is the patient data security where I am expecting more stringent law and more compliance from the government for all kinds of healthcare platforms (Hospitals, Pharma sector and on-line services in healthcare) .
