India registered 30,549 fresh covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). The country’s active caseload is 4,04,958 and its cases comprise 1.28% of the total case count, it added.
During the past 24 hours, the country’s recovery tally touched 3,08,96,354 as 38,887 patients recovered in the same period. The recovery rate currently is 97.38%, MoHFW added. The weekly positivity rate remains less than 5% as it is presently at 2.39%. The daily positivity rate is 1.85%.
Under the nationwide vaccination drive, 47.85 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far and 47.12 crore tests were conducted, the health ministry further added.
