In the wake of COVID19 Pandemic, Senior IAS officer Sudhansh Pant, Principal Secretary, Forest & Envirenment Department is placed under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India on temporary basis for a period of two months in view of the on-going management of COVID19.

In another order, Rajasthan government has transferred and given additional charges to some of the IAS Officers.

Managing Director of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) Naveen Jain is now Chairman – cum – Managing Director of RSRTC while the current Chairman Ravi Shankar Srivastava is now Commissioner, Departmental Enquiries.

Nannu Mal Pahadia and Vishram Meena are being appointed as District Magistrates and Collectors of Swai Madhopur and Barmer respectively. Pahadia will take charge after the current DM Satya Pal Singh Bharia retires on 31st March 2020 and Meena is replacing Ansh Deep who is appointed as Director, Social Justice & Empowerment department.

Pradeep Gawande who is currently posted as Managing Director of Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Ltd will now hold the charge of Additional Mission Director, Director IEC and Additional CEO, Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency.

There have been some crucial additional charges given to some IAS officers. Chairman & Managing Director, Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd Dr. Samit Sharma will additionally hold the charge of Secretary (II), Home Department, whereas Commissioner College Education Pradeep Kumar Borad will take up additional responsibility of Managing Director, Rajasthan State Food& Civil Supplies Corporation. Dr. Pritam B. Yashvant, Commissioner, Commercial Tax will hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Ltd till the next orders.
