The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the premier institute of medical stream, has extended the deadline of online registration for open round of seat allocation/counseling. Earlier the last date for registration was August 13 which has been changed to August 16.

As per the notification on the official website of AIIMS, the authority has decided to extend the deadline from August 13 5 p.m to August 16 till 12 noon. The medical aspirants who have cleared AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam with required cut-off are eligible to apply. The Institute has set 50 percent cut-off for general category students while for SC/ST category the same is 40 percent.

The notification says that open round of seat allocation or counselling will be held on August 20. Those candidates, who will be registering online for counseling, need to report at the Jawaharlal Auditorium, AIIMS New Delhi on the said date.

Documents required

Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examinations

Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination, showing his/her date of birth

Mark sheet from the board from where the students passed the exam with 60 percent marks
