Karnataka’s Department of Health & Family Welfare in association with Elets Technomedia, Asia and Middle Easts premier media and technology research organisation, will be co-hosting Healthcare Summit-Karnataka in the Garden City of Bengaluru on April 11. The summit will be inaugurated by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and will be graced by Ramesh Kumar, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Karnataka, as the Guest of Honour.
To be organised with the objective of developing a road map for changing the paradigm for healthcare service delivery in Karnataka, Healthcare Summit-Karnataka will showcase high potential healthcare initiatives and stellar innovations in Healthcare IT besides recognising and honouring “the contribution of front-line workers and individuals who contributed towards overcoming development challenges through innovations and performance”.
The participants will witness deliberations by industry leaders on key challenges and emerging opportunities in healthcare sector through public-private partnerships.
The summit will see participation from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India; Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka and other states; Mission Directors of National Health Missions across India; over 50 CXOs of private and government hospitals of Karnataka and other states; leading diagnostics centres, international agencies; health PSUs; healthcare IT companies; banks and insurance companies; and healthcare startups.
The key themes of Healthcare Summit-Karnataka include best practices in healthcare delivery; transforming healthcare with IT; the emerging role of PPP in Indian healthcare sector; CSR initiatives in healthcare; raising capital in healthcare; role of hospitals for providing quality and affordable healthcare; medical devices and ‘Make in India’ initiatives; importance of IT in diagnostics market; and ePayments for accessible and transparent healthcare.
