The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) has asked all the Ayurvedic, Siddha and Unani (ASU) colleges to install web-based computerised systems to maintain staff attendance and patient record in OPD and IPD.

“Web-based computerised biometric attendance for teaching, non-teaching and hospital staff shall be maintained from the 1st December, 2016,” said the Ministry of Ayush in a government order of August 12, 2016.

The ministry also asked the CCIM to communicate to the ASU colleges that “web-based computerised central registration systems in OPD (outpatient department) and IPD (inpatient department) shall be maintained from the 1st December, 2016”.

The government also granted relaxation in the criteria on Minimum Standard Requirements (MSR) for processing of the cases of ASU colleges for grant or denial of conditional permission under Section 13C/13A of the Indian Medicine Central Council (IMCC) Act, 1970, for the next academic session.
