Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, Biocon Chairman and Managing Director, has been elected as the first non-executive Chairman of Association of Biotechnology Led Enterprises (ABLE) in honorary capacity.

The executive council of the ABLE has elected Kiran Mazumdar, who chairs Karnataka’s Vision Group on Biotechnology and also serves on the Advisory Council of the Government’s Department of Biotechnology.

According to media reports P M Murali, Managing Director and CEO, Evolva Biotech, was re-elected as president for a second term at the meet here last week.
