“Indian IT professionals are playing a very crucial role in our efforts to improve the US health care system. Currently, we have a team of 110 employees based in India at our development center in Hyderabad, which takes care of core application development and testing,” said W Michael Long, chairman and CEO, Essence Group Holdings Corporation (EGHC) and Lumeris Inc.
“The cloud-based technology developed by us with the involvement of the Hyderabad centre will contribute immensely to the comprehensive health care reform in US,” he added. The company is operational in Hyderabad from last seven years.
“We are planning to add around 2,000-3,000 manpower over the next three years globally, with a significant concentration in Hyderabad,” Long said. The staff includes software developers, infrastructure, maintenance, quality assurance and research and development teams.
