ETIAM Corp. a leading medical imaging software publisher presents a new version of its automated CD and DVD distribution system for medical images. Open LiteBox, the leading application for importing external DICOM media to PACS now provides the fastest and most cost-effective mean to create and label DICOM CDs and DVDs automatically. The space saving station which combines a holding bin, a burner and a printer can be used to create CDs directly from the modality or from the user-friendly Open LiteBox interface. An alternative to film, Open LiteBox produces full fidelity DICOM images and reports on CD-R and DVD-R. Discs that are custom labeled with patient information and facility logo. Each disc also contains the ETIAM’s DICOM LiteBox clinical report and image viewer. This solution is ideally suited for small imaging departments that do not justify high capacity CD/DVD burners and for large centers that require redundancy and a distributed CD/DVD production. This version of Open LiteBox provides another tool to the Film Library workflow automation need.
