MedPlus, the pharmacy retail space launched their e-commerce service â€˜Click Pick & Saveâ€™ in Delhi and NCR area. The service is available in all the top metro areas of the country except Mumbai. The company, with an investment of Rs 100 crore, plans to expand their retail network of stores to over 400 stores in the upcoming years.

The site is informative and educational as it delivers important information regarding medicines, their usage and side effects helping the buyers to get empowered.â€
The consumers can log onto www.medplusmart.com or use theÂ MedPlus application to search for over 100,000 medicines and read important facts about their usage, side effects, precautions to be taken and compare among alternative branded and generic medicines. The service allows the customers to book their medicines online and pick up the medicines from nearby Medplus store after displaying the prescription to the pharmacist or have the medicines delivered home if they upload their prescription online.
The service was first introduced in Hyderabad in March this year, and is also available in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bhubaneswar. Orders for medicines during regular business hours are made available to customers within 3 to 4 hours in most areas. Customers who have difficulty reading their prescriptions can just upload the prescription to the website, whereupon MedPlus customer care will contact the customer and facilitate the order placement. The customers will receive an SMS when the order is ready for pick-up or for delivery.
